I have never been a big popcorn eater until I had ROBERT'S AMERICAN GOURMET PIRATE BOOTY. It's made with puffed rice and corn and it's probably a good alternative to regular popcorn for people with braces. I must warn that it is very addictive.

My bottom 2nd molars are braced and I have a TPA on top so I have bands around my 1st molars, but not my 2nd ones. Not sure if they will be braced later on in treatment or not, but now I am curious to ask my ortho at my next visit.

Thank you all. Following your advice, I'll leave it where it is. I haven't even had one adjustment yet, and already having bracket fall off -- annoying as I have to find a babysitter every time I go to the ortho, so having an unscheduled, accident appointment is frustrating!

I got my bottom teeth braced 1 week ago, and while the first 3 days were painful to chew, I still ate/eat everything I normally eat. But I normally eat sandwiches, sushi, and not very hard foods to begin with. I can't live without my Pirate Booty Popcorn and haven't had trouble eating that either!
