OK, friday was the day of my first adjustment, after having the braces in from December 2007. The orthodontist says my braces were in fantastic condition- I had looked after them well. She also says that in my next appointment, she will fill in the gaps which are present. Is that not quite quick, or...

As my last thread reported, it does look much like the wire has went to the one side... tonight, far too much, the blood is starting to run from my gums now,as the wire is so far back, its splitting my gums, and , with it being 30 mins past midnight, dont know what to do!

Today, the wire that was attactched to my bottom right band, has slipped out, and will not go back in... it seems as if the wire is too short, while the wire in the band on the bottom left is too much, and is actually seen behind the wire, basically toomuch there, if you understand what I am trying ...

Today,I had a dreadful pain in my gum. When I checked, there appears to be a deep cut in my gum, which is now all white, and a very strange feeling when my tongue touches it.

Is this normal,or because its quite deep, something to be concerned about?

OK, on my back left band, where the wire slips into it, has slipped out, and is now pointing towards the bottom of my cheek... although it is not hurting.

I am due back at the ortho on March 21st... so dhould I just wait until then, when they replace the wiring?

OK, at one side of my top set, there is excess wire sticking out the side... sticking into my cheek, which wasnt there before. At the opposide end, the wire has came of of the band... is this normal?

OK, had braces in for nearly two months now, and previously, there was no wire sticking out the back of the band on my very back left tooth, now there is?

This normal, or is there a problem

just relooked at the braces there.
And the wire seems to go around the extraction, and is not directly over the top of it.!

I might ask for something to be placed under the extraction, as im struggling to eat something as soft was chips e.t.c

When you say they replace the wire... how does that happen? and will it be replaced in my next visit, which is March?

OK... Friday will mark 7 days to when my braces went in. Now, prior to getting them in, I had two teeth extraced, the second ones from the back, on both sides. The ring is round the very back teeth, then there is a space on each side where the teeth used to be ( get what I mean?) which is where the ...

thats exactly what it feels like.
lets hope by tomorrow, the pain is at a minimum

yeah, its actually my teeth that are hurting.
The pain does seem to become more severe as the days go on.

It pain is as though every tooth is loose, and it is the pain assosciated with a loose tooth

I cant actually sleep with the pain just now.. Its actually got worse believe it or not

Pain-killers dont seem to be working im afraid

Just got braces in yesterday and the pain is really severe.
Ive been taking pain killers without much help.
How long can I expect this pain to last?
