Lisa, I just thought I'd echo what others have said--if you need someone to keep you company or just need a good laugh(I can send you one of my funny videos that I have in my favorites links), let me know! :) I too know the feeling of what it's like when the hubby is out of town...a few days is a-ok...

I had several baby teeth pulled as a kid, between the ages of 7-11. The last 2 that I had pulled were done about 2 months after I had gotten braces on(for the first time which was from when I was 11-13)

Me three, I want in on this popcorn party!!! Let me just say that by reading what certain people have said regarding being "scared to death by 60 minutes or what others have said about their horrors" it just proves to me that TOO MANY people out there are swayed into their thoughts by watc...

Just read through this topic, and tought I'd give my $0.02. First of all, I couldn't help but agree with Meryaten's HILARIOUS comment, that I think that the assistant who claimed it would deactivate wires was talking through the end where the sun don't shine During the time that I was in braces as a...

Crystal, Like others have said previously, some orthos prefer to start with only one arch being braced. I have heard that it is sometimes to allow the patient to get used to only one at a times, as they may feel that getting everything at once could be overwhelming. I have also heard that sometimes ...

Thanks, Lionfish! I will have to go out and find some of those piksters. Last night, I discovered that the glue has already come loose from one of the teeth, too. Has anyone had that happen? If so, did you experience any movement before you were able to go in and get it fixed. Sorry to sound like I ...

Just got my braces off yesterday, 7/10, and got a bonded and an essix for nights only. With this being the third time of getting braces off(this time I had them lowers only) I would have thought no problem. My problem is that this time I was given a bonded retainer that is glued to all six teeth, ra...

I too agree with those that say that the pink is too girlie!

I currently have baby blue and lavender alternating and it looks great! I get to have some color yet it is discreet.

Congrats on going for the color and yea you'll probably like the light ones too :D

Haha good point, Clo!

This new sensor device does seem like a good idea...Looking back I wish they had had such a thing when I was a teenager...might have prevented me from ending up back in braces as an adult!

I would say DEFINITELY do the lower bonded for sure! Maybe ask if you can also have a removable at night, also. Those teeth tend to move a lot so it can't hurt to have it done.

Should I call and ask my ortho's office this question...?

I am scheduled for my (hopeful!) debanding on July 10th, and am hoping that I am given a lower bonded retainer. I just wanted to ask for a few opinions on this question/subject... --Should I call my ortho's office and ask them over the phone whether or not I am scheduled to get one or not?? (Note: I...
