It just depends on your situation and whether what needs to be fixed requires the help of attachments.

I am a hardcore clencher and I do grind my teeth at night as well and I have had no problems whatsoever. No rips, holes, I haven't ground through the aligners or come close to it. They are sturdier than they look, trust me.

I am a really tense person and clench(and hard too) probably 12 hours a day(on weekends it is better) and I know for a fact that I grind my teeth when I sleep as well and I have never damaged an aligner. I was worried about that when I started but don't worry!

Quite honestly, I almost feel that way without the aligners now. I promise you will get used to them. Soon you wont even realize you have them in your mother.
