Thank you so much everyone for your responses! I decided to give their little toll free number thing a call and the lady there said that they'll send out a replacement handle and charger, which should be here in two weeks :D Can't wait until it works, my teeth are itching for a good brush;) Alexa, I...

Thanks ssfw! When the sonicare is charging, does it light up at all in the handle? I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not. I've adjusted real well to life after braces, it's wonderful and so definately worth it. I actually like my retainer, I've got a permanent one on the bottom and a hawley on top...

Hey! Sorry I haven't been on here much lately, I've been really busy with college apps and all that fun stuff, but I finally got a sonicare toothbrush for christmas :D and I have a question about it. It's about charging it. I put it in the charger overnight and everything but the light stops blinkin...

Do the Crest Whitestrips...definately. Before I got my braces off, I kept thinking that I would do BriteSmile as well because I really wanted white teeth and I thought that the cheap whitestrips wouldn't do the same thing...but they do, they really do. Give em a shot before shelling all that money f...

Missing Tooth, the exact same thing happened to me...and I mean exact. Like one day after I went to the ortho I felt this huge pain and I looking in the mirror and there was the bracket that had been attached to the impacted tooth just hanging off the archwire. I still remember that day clearly, eve...

I drank soda for four years while I had braces. While I was never quite addicted to it, I never turned it down either so I would guess that I probably had it about 2 or 3 times a week on average...some much more and some much less depending on my schedule. Anyway, I'm all finished up now and there a...

I still have my wisdom teeth and I'm done with my braces. It really varies from person to person with their age, the position their wisdom teeth are in, and many other factors. That's also part of the reason why they use bonded retainers on the bottom often to keep the front teeth from shifting if t...

Hey Lainey! I'm sorry to hear about your debandind date being pushed back, I know how frustrating that is. It happened to me many many times-as a whole my treatment went over by 22 months. All through I kept thinking that I was almost done and the ortho would keep moving the debanding date back. I h...

I would say you could definately skip a day wearing your retainer for the wedding, as long as you wear it at night and as much as you can beforehand. I just got my braces off 6 days ago and already my teeth feel pretty stable. I wouldn't go without the retainer for a regular day, but for your weddin...
