How's it going? You should be able to eat ok by now. Hang in there. You will get very used to the whole process. Just passing 14 months with about another 16 to go, but already I know this is so worth it, and I got used to it all real fast.

you will get used to whatever they shove in there. the saltwater rinse is so important to oral health.

extra gear is not so much to deal with crooked teeth but to anchor molars and influence jaw and bite issues.

my ortho, who is board certified, debunked all the myths. You can chew gum (sugarless, ADA aproved like trident or orbit) you can eat popcorn (careful, no unpoped kernals and clean well), yes take Ibuprofen, etc etc.

I see a lot of bad mouths in professional kitchens and from our providers (but not in sales, there you see the perfect smiles.) However, there is one truck driver/delivery guy with braces. I admit now to always having wanted a great smile and being afraid. It's nothing to fear. It's great and I'm go...

For whatever reason, I got a TPA and adjusted right away. Obviously different appliances up there on the roof of the mouth work and feel a bit different, and people are individuals so no two adjust the same way. But in general it's a day to a week to 10 days and all should be "normal." As ...
