December 19 is one year since I got my upper braces!! My treatment time was 2 years so hopefully only one more year. I still have spaces from my extractions though. I want them closed now. Other than that I think my teeth look perfect already!

Quick question:

I just got elastics today that my ortho said I only had to wear at night. I was in a hurry and wasn't really paying attention. Anyway I have to wear a mouthguard at night or I'll gring my teeth off. Does it make a difference if I wear them during the day instead? Thanks.

I eat everything. I didn't at first but now I eat nuts and chip and chew gum all the time. No problems so far. I still don't eat things that I have to bite into like apples. I still cut them up.
