I would say the first week is the worst - but good news - it will get better. Plus there is always medication to make it more comfortable. Good Luck to you and welcome to the club.

I miss salads and nuts and crunch n'munch popcorn

I have lost 5 pounds - because I am very lazy about cleaning my braces after I eat so I just don't eat between meals

Maybe my first meal after the braces come off will be a taco with some nachos -yum yum
