Hey everyone, I went to my ortho yesterday and guess what?!!

I get de-braced on friday!!!!

Its been quite a while since I last posted, not much has changed, my gaps have been slowly closing. I got back to my orthodontist on Tuesday and he is going to take some moulds of my teeth ready for the retainers and then the next time I go back I get de-braced! wooo! today http://i188.photobucket.c...

Also.. i'm driving myslef mad with my gaps... every morning i put my tongue in the space and they feel smaller... but buy the evening they are back to feeling the same!! I don't know if its because my teeth are moving backwards and forwards or my tongue swells up in the night!!

Hope the spacers aren't causing you too much trouble, I found them the most painful part, but I found making myself chew helped ease it...

Just read through your story, your progress is looking good. I remember psoting when I was a couple of months in and feeling like this whole thing would last forever, but time has flown by! I hope it does for you too!

Disaster... my power chain snapped on tuesday with another 3 weeks until my next appointment. Luckily I'm going in today to get it replaced, I might suggest he puts the silver wire in now to speed things up as I'm pretty sure nothing has moved over the last 3 weeks!!
