Outside of needing to change orthodontists because you move to another city, has anyone changed orthos in the middle of treatment because you were unhappy or unsatisfied with the doctor? Was there a financial penalty?

So I'm going along with my treatment just fine, doing my 22 hours a day and not having too much difficulty aside from hating those attachments. I'm anxious for my next appointment because I will finally reach double digits: Trays 10 out of 23. The doctor does something different at the appointment.....

Pearlie, you're right...I can't believe I never thought about the timing. I'm supposed to wear my next tray for 3 weeks, so even even taking the average of 2 and 3 week-timeframes, it's about 58 weeks, a far cry from 2.5 years! I know I saw something that said my estimated length of treatment is 30 ...

My treatment calls for 23 upper and 23 lower trays over the next 2.5 years. Are all of the trays manufactured at the beginning of treatment? Or is it just a few at a time?

I started my treatment recently, too (Feb. 3) and got the stupid attachments placed on my front teeth two days ago. I'm REALLY not feeling these things. Pearlie, that was a good theory about why Invisalign seems to be prescribing all of these front attachments. That move is going to backfire on them...
