Dental Caps and Retainers

I just found out that I have to get 3 dental caps two on the top and one on the bottom. I also have a herbest retainer that I wear at night for sleep apnea and wondering if I will have to get a new device because of the caps? or should I be able to have it adjusted.? Any advice will help.

Good to here that you found another doctor who is just as good as the other. Also I would suggest you go your first doctor and get all your records and take them to the new doctor to ensure that every thing gets there. Good luck.

Yes you are correct. It is just like when you go to your independent insurance agent and he gets you offers from 3-4 companies for you to look at before you purchase insurance. They should be able to put pressure on the insurance to do something. I really have never understood why it is so hard with...

I would find out who the insurance broker is for the company and ask for all the plans etc. Explain the problem to him/her and see what they might be able to do for you. The squeaky wheel gets the most as they say. I wonder what type of special CAT scan is required. I bet they would pay for that in ...

Here is something else to think about that a lot of people do not look allways look at. Do you have a medical condition of Sleep Apena? If so this surgery should/will help you out so that you do not have to use a machine or dental device while sleeping. Just another thought for you to look at.

Did the doctor say why he was looking at it in a differant light? Also do you have sleep apnea or other medical issues that might be the reason for the change? I would also ask to go to another Oral Surgeon and ask him/her about what they think. The more questions you ask the better you will about w...

Sorry to here of all the problems that you are having. I hope that your husband company can talk with Atena and get it taken care of. I had a problem with UHC in regards to a Herbest Retainer that was being used for sleep apnea and not ortho. The dentist was out of network etc. It took me a year and...

How are you doing with your braces and the CPAP treatment? Are things better and are you using a differant mask? I have the herbest retainer and use that instead of the CPAP and doing well with it so far.
