It seems like not much is happening every month I go in... I have had a stupid little gap for like 3 months now. And then we had to get the back teeth on ...

When I ride I always wear my helmet... Helmet have literally saved my life twice... no kidding. Without them I would be dead.

Plus its your own little world in a full face motorcycle helmet... I sing and have a great time inside there... its like a party :P

Pretty much every time I have gone in to have something done there has been some soreness and tenderness afterwords. I've had my braces on for a year and 8 months now I've felt just about all of it... Yes a lot of the stuff hurts me too. What really hurt me the most is when they put rubber bands on ...

Surgery... don't read this...

Hi all. It's been awhile since I posted here but I have braces and have had surgery to advance my lower jaw. I felt the need to let everyone know that getting braced was one of the BEST DECISIONS I have ever made! Those days of being afraid to smile and feeling self conscious ALL THE TIME are gone. ...

I had mine advanced like 5mm i think... I was in the hospital overnight... My swelling was really bad for a few days then it just looked like I was a little fat for a few weeks, haha. I got some interesting looks. I was numb for a month or two but now I'm better than new :)

Its not a horse... but I was back racing and riding motorcycles in 6 weeks or so. At first the helmet was extremely painful because it put pressure on the joint but a week or two of that and I was good. :)

I am a fast healer tho.

Hit the whiskey... Haha, totally kidding that would be a really really bad idea. I was not nervous because I have had some other surgeries that have been much worse. There is a little pill (maybe like xanax?) that my surgeon gave me one time... I can't remember what its called. Its great though give...

My OS got an approval notice and I did as well. They have covered some of it but me having to pay 15,000 out of pocket is not what I would call covered. My OS was in network and the procedure was approved... I dont even see the hospital bill on my insurance invoices... all of these were billed like ...
