Bite is perfect, except for the "short side," according to ortho and dentist. They said the only solution is three veneers on that side with the shorter teeth. I'm just not sure I want to throw down three grand on a solution that only lasts 15 years. I'll see if I can get a before pic up l...

Would you be happy with these results?

Just got my braces removed, however I'm not particularly happy with the results:

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Shifting my own wire?

My wires shift frequently (standard braces), and sometimes the orthodontist will just take some pliers and shift the entire wire over until it fits well again. I started doing this at home, and on multiple occasions I was told that it's OK to do. Still, I'm rather concerned. I hate having blood with...

When I open my mouth as wide as possible, I don't feel very much pain. Maybe a little pressure on my temples, but nothing major. I guess it has something to do with the muscles involved in yawning?

Jaw Pain

Lately, whenever I yawn, I feel pain on the left side of my face.

It's in the left temple area, I guess, but I can also feel it in my jaw. I assume it has to do with the movement of my teeth, but will it go away? Will it cause more problems?

Thanks for the help,
Peter

Bleeding stopped after about 6.5 hours (using both tea bags and gauze). :) :) :) In other news, percocet is incredible. I did, however, accidentally take it on an empty stomach, but ate a bagel and soup 30 minutes later. Because of that, I'm incredibly dizzy, and I'll go lay down now. Thanks for the...

Update:

Day 12, and what seems to be working very well is Aveeno Intense Relief lip balm. I would highly recommend it.

Mine do that, and will continue to do so for a few months (don't even have the top wire in yet). It's day 12 for me and I don't even notice it anymore.

It gets better, hang in there.

I'm going in to fix some brackets tomorrow, and I think I'll ask for that green/blue-green combination on the first post of this thread.

Thanks, everyone!

And I don't think I'm allergic to anything, but I certainly don't want to find out.

Thanks, I've heard about blocks that go on your molars to help you chew?
