Having gone through this process and invisalign being offered as an option for me I'm glad I went the whole 9 yards.

Get braces is really not as awful as it seems. It's better to correct everything now and not have to worry later.

I had braces through university. It's not a big deal.

I got braces when I was 23 and it wasn't bad at all. I met my current bf when I was 24 and he said he thought they were really cute and one of the reasons he was attracted to me. So Smile!

It's not horrible, it will make your cheeks really tough which can be useful. I almost never used wax, unless I had a stray wire poking into my cheek, and it made things a lot more tolerable.

oh, yeah, since I don't have braces anymore (but, being on here I really miss them! When they took them off I wanted them back on) I put a weight-loss tracker as I've lost some weight recently and don't have far to go until my goal weight.
