The touching thing is a good point... I don't think I'm using any different products since I'm just using the same toothpaste/mouthwash as always--just more types of brushes in the delivery :P But it's entirely possible that there's more touching since there is certainly more picking going on (ugh!)...

LOL I'm laughing because I'm in the same situation. The soft diet I've been on for the past several weeks has caused havoc with my slight case of IBS. Anyway-- oatmeal and a cup of coffee (together) really helps.

Thank you, everyone. I had been thinking of getting a water pik anyway, so I think this has sealed the deal. Today I'm not experiencing the problem, but I suspect having that thing will cut my teeth grooming time by half each day
