I found out I was orally allergic to latex when they put my braces on using latex gloves. I have the non-latex rubber bands and they work fine. Good luck. Latex allergies SUCK!!!!

I have a quadhelix (expander without a key) it took me weeks to get used to it. I used the Rainbow passage A LOT lol Food STILL gets caught in it. I was originally told I would only have it for 10 weeks and I STILL have it in. I do have a date 4 weeks from now to have it removed. YAY!!

The same thing happened to me a few days after my last adjustment. I went right in and they clipped the wire for me. Took 30 seconds if that.

I got my upper braces on 1-4 and I got on a plane to go to Vegas for work on 1-5. I just packed my wax and some motrin and so far I have been fine. I'm still getting used to them but the pain (for me) wasn't really THAT bad.

I had my first adjustment on Thursday. It wasn't bad at all. The girl who worked on me last time said she was sorry about the latex issues 20 times. I felt so bad for her. It wasn't her fault. I got silver ligs so it all blends in. I also got a date (Jan. 4) to get my uppers put on. I'm so excited....
