People ---

Try using a small square of paper towel (~ 3" will do) & grasp your retainer with it near the back on one side to easily remove them.


Makes all the difference in the world -
you'll be amazed at such a simple solution!

If only our clinicians would pass on these tips... :idea:

That is a good tip, but I tell ya - I couldn't even test pasta for al dente doneness while wearing my trays.

It was just too weird a sensation to have any kind of solid food at all with them in - ick! :P

bag - I should also have said that the 2-3 days of pain with a new tray that then subsides is completely normal. And it means your teeth have definitely moved somewhat - however subtle the changes.
