Thanks KK. Oops - I didn't mean to imply that it was all in one sitting. I did five hours, two hours and two hours. After the first five, my body was completely drained. I had no idea a tattoo could be so hard on your body. I was going to go longer but he said we needed to stop because my body was g...

Will they file them down and build them up?
Hey all, I've been seeing great progress with my teeth, but as they straighten out, I've noticed how badly I've worn some of them down. Because they were so twsited and my bite so off, I've worn off entire corners of teeth, or worn down weird angles in them. The straighter they get the more I go &qu...

Fantastic progress LP!!!! And yet another creepy thing we have in common beyond sharing our b-day. That's an amazing tattoo, looks like it would have taken a while and might have been painful for some of the areas it runs across, but clearly worth it. Glad to see you're loving your progress and hav...

I just got my elastics on Tuesday. I have one on each side, from top front premolar to bottom front molars that I wear all the time, and at night I put one on each side over the bottom extraction gaps (none over the top gaps though). I've been changing them about 3 times a day, but I think I should ...

Well....I've been away for a while (summer's SO busy) but I had to come back and check in and update since my adjustment on Tuesday. I've had my wires changed once before but that was only two weeks after the braces were put on - they gave me time to heal from the extraction done the same day as bei...

Yeah dramagirl. I've been away for a while but it's so nice to come back and finally see some pics. Things are looking GREAT!!!! You have had amazing progress thus far. It's so exciting isn't it? I love the tattoo too - much different then my lotus flower. Hmmmm....maybe I should post a picture of m...

Wow KK 10 weeks between adjustments? I thought the standard time between adjustments was 4 weeks? They say that the treatment time can be greatly reduced with the Speed Braces (basically the same thing as the Damons), but I'll buy that if and when it happens. The main reason I got them is the Ortho ...

Hey Dramagyrl, With the Speed Braces I only need to have an adjustment every six wekks. I have already gone in once because I had the extractions done the afternoon I got the braces on. So I waited two weeks for that to heal and then went in to get wires that went all the way to the back of my mouth...

Well - it's been a month now since getting braced and it seems a good time to post an update. I have noticed a lot of movement already and am just thrilled with the way things are shaping up. My archwire is so much straighter now. My 45 degree angle front tooth have moved so much I can actually run ...

Thank you both. That sort of gives me an idea anyways. At least now I won't be watching them so closely hoping to see a change of some sort. My ortho said I will most likely be left with gaps (the molars I had pulled left HUGE gaps), that will need implants. So I'm not expecting them to close up com...
