I got Hawleys on Thursday and am still getting used to the speech. It was very annoying the first few days because I had so much trouble talking. It's better now, but still not quite normal. I had impressions before AND after the braces came off. They made me a Hawley retainer with the before impressions to wear immediately after i got debraced. Then my ortho took more impressions after the debracing to get me Essix retainers made.

So my deband date is tomorrow morning. I had a dream the other night that my wire was out for whatever reason when it should not have been, and all my teeth were wonky and loose. Progress pictures after my last adjustment. Time elapsed is 7 weeks. Ortho said that I made 2x the amount of progress that he normally sees between adjustments. Average is about 1 mm movement.
