Metal Mouth Message Board

I was braced on June 22 and was banded on my last adjustment 2 weeks ago. I am having a real problem with dry mouth and the braces poking me. Does anyone have any helpful ideas? The inside of my mouth and tounge are really sore.

My daughter had tmj so badly her jaw would dislocate during sleep and she would have to manually manipulate it back into place in the morning. I was just told by my dentist that one of my upper back tooth the root seems to be resorbing. I am due to get braces on June 22. Just what does this mean? Can anyone put some light on this subject for me?
