I know you posted this a while ago, but I am now 2 months and feeling the same things...

Sore teeth, pain in the gums that comes and goes.

I am finishing turning this week and get my top braces this coming week.

I am 2 months post sarpe, top braces this week. Only having them put on the front few teeth as I still have my expander on.

My gap is huge, happy to get them to close the gap, but also nervous about how they will feel across the gap.

Anyone have a similar experience?

I tried MSE (45 male), and it failed.

Now scheduled for SARPE at the end of this month.

Looking forward to putting this behind me. I am nervous about waking up from surgery, how will I feel, what kind of shape will I be in?

I am scheduled for SARPE later this month, and my orthodontist has sent me a picture of the expander she will use. It appears to be a bonded expander with plastic on it. I don't see the typical screw and wires I have seen on other expanders. Has anyone else had a bonded expander? What can I expect? ...
