I went in the morning for debanding and molds then went back that afternoon for my retainers. But I did have permanent upper and lower retainers placed that morning.

The only thing I had to pay extra for was my second essix as I broke the first one . But other than all charges were included in my initial fee per my contract.

The big ouch for me was when they were yanking off the molar bands. It felt like they were trying to take my tooth with the band. I had metal brackets and they were not bad coming off, just the slightest pinch on some and nothing on others. No stains. Good Luck and Congrads.

I did not find any surprises after the braces came off. I guess cause its so hard to tell what they look like with all the metal I didnt really have an "idea" as to what they would look like after getting them off. But I was very happy with my results
