Metal Mouth Message Board

Did anyone get gaps in their teeth after getting a three piece lefort 1? I have a narrow upper jaw and the surgeon said to do a 3 piece lefort 1 instead of sarpe but since he's expanding my upper jaw I'm assuming there's going to be gaps.
