What issues did you have BEFORE surgery? Was your smile/chin/face symmetrical before surgery?

Thank you for your answer Karla! I forgot to mention. My bite was _really_ bad before so I’m not sure if this is as good as it can get or not. The function is fine now but I’m unsure about the aesthetics. But it’s possible that changning the aesthetics would ruin the function. My jaws are not symmet...

Swelling could be present for up to a year so it’s impossible to judge the result at all after only ten days. It seems a bit strange that THEY told you that your face is too flat. Too flat for what? If you liked it then what’s the problem? Anyway.. moving the upper jaw forward will NOT make the face...
