I vote for #1. It so important that you are comfortable with the ortho, as you know from past experience.

I currently have the Oral B with my braces. I do buy the ortho heads for it. I used the sonicare in the past and I didn't really care for it.

What I've realized is the only control I have over my treatment is to wear my elastics. I've also learned that your bite will get worse before it gets better and it all comes together in the end. I would discuss with the ortho how you are feeling about the elastics and maybe he can help you feel mor...

I use my waterpick more than once a day without problems. I love using it to get all the bits out that you really can't see.

I've had powerchains for almost my entier treatment and I haven't noticed my lips being any dryer. I occasionaly get irritation on the inside of my mouth from the rubbing.

I've had it done both ways. My ortho is in an ajoining office 3 days a week and when I had a cleaning done on a day the ortho staff wasn't there, they didn't take off the wire. The next cleaning they did remove the wire. I asked the hygenist about it and they said they can do it either way and prefe...

Our hygenist can't remove the left over glue. My son has a spot that wasn't completely removed and she told us to contact the orthodontist to have it removed. I would imagine that the dentist could do it also. Good Luck

I find that a child size tooth brush helps get into the small areas. I also use the dental picks, waterpik, floss and a mouthwash daily.
