I am 47 and was told recovery would be harder as I'm older than the average patient, apparently (rude :lol:) but I was in no way prepared for how tough the recovery proce...

That's totally normal & it happened to me - don't worry! I was told they exaggerate it as it makes the surgeon's job easier.... not sure if that's true!

Hi! I had double jaw surgery in April, and am 9 weeks post-op. I have exactly the same problem. I could not close it pre-surgery and was hoping surgery would correct it. But no :/ I am really beginning to regret the procedure
