I'd really like to know how the procedure went for you and how was the overall outcome post surgery.

Have you spoken with a maxillofacial surgeon about this? A qualified maxillofacial surgeon that specializes in corrective jaw surgery should be able to give you the best prognosis.

Do you suffer from any breathing issues I wonder?

Another option for post braces is to have a permanent retainer consisting of a metal wire attached the back of the teeth. It may be a option to consider this time around.

I was told by the team, typically 2 weeks should be enough for someone to go back to work provided it was not a physically strenuous job. Personally I think that sound way to ambitious.

For all of you that feel you teeth have been pulled too far back in, I'm wondering whether other then the aesthetics, you have found there to be any other side effects.

Has it effected your speech, tongue space or breathing?
