What exactly do these bends on my braces do? I feel like my teeth are completely straight and even except for my right upper lateral. I would bring it up, but I haven’t experienced your situation :-/. I already had braces when I started dating my boyfriend and he loves them and most people don’t mind or care or seem to notice them so I think you’ll be fine!

I started noticing changes about like a month or two in, but i saw my teeth getting more crooked than straight. After about the 6 month mark I could tell a big difference and my teeth were straighter than ever

The first few months I got braces I thought the same thing too, my teeth were more crooked than they were before i got braces, but after month 6 i could see my teeth straightening! Don’t worry too much, your ortho will make your teeth perfect by the end of your treatment.

Sounds kind of gross but blistex medicated ointment is seriously the BEST lip balm ever, I’ve introduced it to several people and they all love it! It leaves your lips SO soft! It feels super weird at first bc it’s thick and goes on white but as it absorbs into your lips it turns clear.
