crest white strips okay to use after invisalign

As my teeth are now finally straight after 18 months of invisalign!!!, can I use white strips to whiten teeth? I forgot to ask my Ortho and heard that you should wait about 6 weeks since there may still be some residue left from the attachments which doesn't somehow work well with the strips. Not su...

Re: New Member bound for Braces at 66

I would go with invisalign. very easy and you can pop them out anytime. I will be done next week and it was the best decision I have ever made. I was 51 when I started. Not absolutely invisible, but pretty close. I was self conscious and didn't want the braces, but whatever you decide, I am sure it ...

Re: Invisalign with Attachments AND elastics?

"With your crossbite, were the top teeth or bottom teeth the issue? Also pointed toward cheek or lingual? Last question; if you had them tipped what rubber band config did they have you in?" Top teeth and not sure if cheek or lingual but basically, when I would bite down, my right top teet...

Re: Invisalign Questions

very slight speech issue. honestly, it's really only when you do a LOT of talking. Just speak a little slower. Yes, you may have to change your eating habits. I know this may sound gross, but I have eaten or drank in my car and then took out my portable toothbrush and did a quick brush and rinse wit...

Re: Has anyone found it hard to tolerate invisalign?

Honestly, it is not that bad. I will be aligner free on Sept 12/18 so I am an expert on invisalign. Wore them for just short of 1.5 years and I wouldn't change a thing! If you need to pull them out for a function, meeting, social, you can. They really are not bad at all and in the whole time, only o...

Re: On 2nd refinement set

I had a crossbite and very diligent in wearing my elastics as per my ortho's instructions and she is very happy with the result. She told me that she didn't expect that it would correct so well so wear your elastics as per your ortho's instructions. I started in late March 2017 and should be done in...

Re: First few days advice. Journey started yesterday

I am 52 and heading towards the end of my journey with invisalign. I have less than 2 months to go. I am in the refinement stage. Basically I can tell you that it's pretty easy. You may be slightly sore when you put your new aligners in, but nothing too bad. If you find that your aligner is digging ...

Did you consider invisalign?
I love it! Easy and you can pull them out if you need to.
