Yes it's normal. I'm 6 weeks into ceramic braces and around week 2 i developed a gap between my two front teeth at top. This closed by week 5 and I can see that my teeth are now straightened out so I assumed its because they were moving into place :)

I have clear and really glad I did get these instead of metal as im a very self conscious person. Yes they do stain sometimes but not permanently and you can get bands that dont stain which I'm getting tomorrow. I'm only 6 weeks in to trearment and only got upper braces on i get bottom ones on after...
