Now that I recall I had a sore throat around the time I got my first tray...not sure if it was coincidence or related to the aligners... hope it never happen again.

I don't think your aligners should bend/broaden? I assume the materials are made to prevent that from happening, otherwise how is it gonna move your teeth?

If you spend a long time eating (like 40min-1hour) then probably don't wait any longer. Otherwise I'd take a brief break like 15 min before brushing.

Can you possible switch to traditional braces?

@Emmily I don't think it happens to everyone. You should be fine if you don't have bone loss or gum recession.
