Since you're still a teenager, you might be able to get expanders rather than an operation for the width of your jaw/palate.
As for the length of your teeth, I'm not sure what could be done about that. Maybe veneers or caps?

One year after debanding : all is ok. My lips and my mouth are still perfectly competent. My face hadn't become thinner at all. Thankfully I've never heard of any dentist or Orthodontist in the UK making holistic claims. But if I do, I know what to do (ignore them).

I have had 2 top first premolars removed a couple of weeks back. My braces go on on Thursday 17th (less than a week to go!) Ortho said 18-24 months. I imagine it will be closer to 24, but we'll see!

I am 30 & finally getting braces next week. Hopefully I will be 32 when the job is done.

£3000 in UK - ceramic on top, metal on bottom. Meant to wear them for 18-24 months.
