Since you're still a teenager, you might be able to get expanders rather than an operation for the width of your jaw/palate.
As for the length of your teeth, I'm not sure what could be done about that. Maybe veneers or caps?

Re: Extraction of bicuspids and benefits on the profile
One year after debanding : all is ok. My lips and my mouth are still perfectly competent. My face hadn't become thinner at all. I am definitely very happy with the results and I don't regret at all to have chosen the extraction route. Good luck with your treatment all of you! Thank you for sharing ...
My 4 first bicuspids were extracted because of bimax protrusion and lip incompetence and now I'm debraced for one year. I wore braces with powerchains and elastics. Here are some photos : http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=50304
This is rea...

Re: Overjet and buck teeth - metal or clear braces?
I have quite an overbite & overjet. I've opted for ceramic braces, but the Ortho has decided it's best to put Metal on the bottom because of risk of chipping top teeth on the bottom brackets due to my overbite. Thanks in part to this thread I am planning on getting silver or pearl ligatures on t...

Re: Beware "Holistic" Dentists
Thankfully I've never heard of any dentist or Orthodontist in the UK making holistic claims. But if I do, I know what to do (ignore them).

Re: Ramblings On Avoiding Exaggeration, Quackery and Malpractice
This was a really reassuring read. Mainly I have been worried about extractions & changes to my face/profile. I questioned my Ortho & my dentist (who performed the extractions) & they both explained it really well. Thanks for your advice!

I have had 2 top first premolars removed a couple of weeks back. My braces go on on Thursday 17th (less than a week to go!) Ortho said she would try not to remove bottom teeth, because I have an overbite & overjet, but they are quite crowded, too. I will share my progress here, if you'd like to ...

Re: Cost of your braces
£3000 in UK - ceramic on top, metal on bottom. Meant to wear them for 18-24 months.
They go on on Thursday 17th August - I'm so excited!
