Hi I m 34 and started wearing ceramic braces since march this year.
I can also see movement of my teeth which I think is amazing. But the spaces from extraction are making me very self-conscious.

Thanks so much for the advice.
Still so painful :(. I feel kind of sad that I can't interact freely with my girl... but I guess it'll be much better when I m no longer in pain.

I have that from day 1. Spacer was the worst, but it only took a week or less before a molar band could be placed.
I think molar bands feel pretty much like other brackets except they are bigger and have metal at the "back" where your tongue has to get used to. But it won't take long.
