Re: Mouth sores

I haven't tried these, but Dentalkit.com had some things called Comfort Covers. Basically looks like a piece of plastic that covers the braces. Maybe you could try those?

Re: Braces for grinding and headaches

Now that you've had your braces on for a bit, do you feel like they've helped with your grinding? I didn't know that correctly aligned teeth "can't" grind. According to my boyfriend I grind my teeth all the time when I sleep (which he hates) and I never knew it could be fixed. I am started...

Re: Water flossers

Thanks for the info! I think I'll talk to my ortho to see what she has to say as well before I go for it.

Water flossers

Hey guys!

I've seen a bunch of people talking about how amazing water flossers are but I'm wondering if I can get input on if it can be used to replace manual flossing? They all seem to say that they can be but we all know marketing can be misleading.

Re: Consultation

I agree with the comment above about getting multiple consults because you will come up with additional questions. Also, in my case specifically, I loved the first place atmosphere but the second place i went to had, what i consider, a better treatment plan. And I don't think it's weird to ask for m...

Carriere Motion and Braces as an Adult

Hey Guys! I've been looking at all of the posts and info on the site for a little bit while I've been doing some decision-making. My boyfriend and parents all say that they don't think that I need braces, but this is for me, not them. So I decided to go ahead with braces (Yikes! Super nervous) after...
