Wow! You've made a lot of progress very quickly! It's a great feeling isn't it?

Let's hope the following months treat you the same.

Good luck :)

Re: Your jail sentence

Sentence was 18-24 months.

I am currently on month 14.

Fingers crossed that I only have 4 more months to go instead of 10+. :(

Re: The truth about extractions. Share your Good and Bad stories? [with pictures]

I had 5 teeth pulled about a year and a half ago and my braces were put on 3 weeks after that. So far during my treatment I've seen nothing but positive changes. I was definitely worried at first but, I can't say I regret it.

Re: How hard is it to break the braces with your tongue?

I don't really want to say it's 'impossible' but .. I personally have never done it myself nor have I ever heard of someone doing it with just the force of their tongue!

I suppose anything is possible though

Re: Dating with Braces

I'm sure he would feel great knowing you will have a big straight smile in the end! Couldn't agree more with this! ^ I myself was always worried about how braces would impact my dating life. I've had them for over a year and they've never held me back. I've had nothing but compliments from people. ...

Re: Consultation

Typically at the initial consultation they will do an examination of your teeth and give you some options to choose from in terms of braces. Re: 'Ello! (Newbie here)

cmatthews26 - Thank you! And yes, it's definitely reassuring to know that other adults get braces, too. :) I've only had my braces (top arch) for a week but I find myself looking at my teeth every day for changes, lol. Didn't expect anything noticeable to happen yet, but still. Looking forward to t...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB

I had the option to have my impacted canine pulled down with a chain but opted to have it removed instead to save myself an extra 6 or so months on my treatment. My orthodontist plans to 'disguise' my premolar and through cosmetic dentistry, make it look like a canine! I'm okay with this, as long as...
