Ice cream and popsicles help, but as you said it only helps for a little while. I'll try sipping on ice water!

I usually use Oral-B Glide floss with a separate threader, but sometimes I switch it up with Oral-B Superfloss since the built-in threader is easier to maneuver.

I got an Oral B Vitality electric toothbrush and travel box containing:

Travel toothbrush
Travel toothpaste
Floss
Gum Red-Cote
A "Christmas tree" brush
A pack of wax
A plastic wire pusher

Hi! I'm also new and just recently got my braces. I was terrified because I needed extractions, but the extractions went a lot better than I expected!

My estimate was 24 months, but I'm hoping I might be able to shave off a month or two!

I use the same (unwaxed) floss that I used before getting braces: Oral B glide floss. I don't know which is actually better, but I hate the feeling of waxed floss.
