Re: Anyone regretting reverse extraction orthodontics?

More research as in? About what specific thing? Would you please elaborate? Thank you, Kirti When I say research I mean look at the different orthodontists that do this procedure. In addition consider what you are trying to fix, because if you had teeth pulled out and you want to implant teeth back...

Re: Will reopening extraction spaces give my earlier profile back?

Thank you so much synergy for your response. The profile you have now, is it the same as you had before having the braces for the first time? No I didn't have this issue before my teeth were visible in the front without effort. They also were not tipped/flared out like they are now. The reason why ...

Re: Reversing Bicuspid Extractions and Depressed!

You're right. That doesn't look right. However, you can go to Dr. Hang... he's been reopening spaces for a long time, he's expert in this area and he's in California. Yes I think it's an open bite that I have now and front potruded teeth. I want to try TADS or MEAW technique to push them back. I do...

Re: Reversing Bicuspid Extractions and Depressed!

I can see why you're upset after spending so much time and money on something and then not getting a result that's making you happy. But yeah, I've heard many good things about Dr. Hang and I don't even live in the US haha. Hopefully he isn't your current orthodontist! Your teeth definitely look lo...

Re: Anyone regretting reverse extraction orthodontics?

I had four premolar extractions with retraction. After noticing the negative consequences- sunken face, bigger nose, less space for tongue etc, I am thinking about going for reverse extraction orthodontics where they reopen extraction spaces and put implants. However, I want to be extremely sure ab...

Re: Will reopening extraction spaces give my earlier profile back?

That's what I hope too. Those of you who have had reverse extraction orthodontics, did it give you your earlier profile back? I like my profile, however as you can read my post my front central incisors are flared up like crazy and there is only two months left. Before you do anything make sure you...

Reversing Bicuspid Extractions and Depressed!

Hello everyone, so frustrating, this is my second time writing this again. So I will start this off by jumping right in just like what the title says. When I was 15 years old I had braces to correct my crooked teeth, but before I got the braces I had to two bicuspids removed from the top, because th...

Re: Can non surgical palate expansion happen at 22?

Well I am facing the same situation as you, I had my top bicuspids removed when I was younger for braces and did not like my facial profile that happened as a result. So when I was 23 yrs old, I had them reversed and still I am currently doing that at the age of 26, its been a long process but final...

Re: earlier adjustment?

I would like them to move my teeth down as well currently, not feeling any pressure on my top central incisors teeth, its very annoying because they stick out and they are tipped forward. I will see my orthodontist in next month. But would rather go sooner like you.

[quote="Tath4746"]Redwillow, Speaking from personal experience with 4 premolar extractions with retraction for Orthodontic purposes, DO NOT EXTRACT ANY OF YOUR PERMANENT TEETH FOR ORTHODONTIC PURPOSES!!! The long-term detrimental health and facial issues are not worth it!!! You state that: "You worr...

Re: 7 days left of eating whatever I want... LOL

Well luckily you can get them again at least. Hopefully this go around it fixes all your problems that you have. The eating part is not that bad, it actually made me eat healthier and lighter foods because the normal foods would get stuck in my braces all the time. :D

New to FORUM ! Glad to be here !

Hello I am new to forum and have been on the braces journey for a while now. I am 26 yrs old, and I had the braces put on when I was 23 yrs old. The reason, I put on the braces a second time, was because I wanted to open my extraction spaces up and reverse the work that had been done to them by a pr...
