My ortho has me come in every 4wks.

I've seen people have elastic in a certain configuration to close gaps like that. Kind of in a triangle.

If you are wearing them for an overbite, they are definitely wrong. I have been wearing elastic for my overbite for about 4 months now (I've been in braces for 13mo.) And I wear them differently (I wear them from the top front canine to the bottom back molar).

He might not know but you can cause damage to the roots of your teeth if you do. There's a reason why they move the teeth at a certain speed.

I get it though....I've had elastic for a couple months and want my teeth to move faster.

Yes it can. I have molar build-ups because my top molar broke off one of my bottom brackets.

My son had his coil span over a tooth and they removed the bracket under the coil. Not sure why they left yours on.

I noticed about 2-3 weeks in. (I have traditional metal). I had "buck teeth" and crowding on the bottom. I'm 41yrs old. I'm now in my 4th month.

So far I've had light pink, light blue, and silver. My favorite is probably the silver because it blends with my brackets.

I use my water flosser, then brush, then floss, then use mouthwash. That's my routine in the morning, after I eat anything, and before bed.
