Re: Which electric toothbrush do you have and why did you choose it?

I have only bought Oral B toothbrushes. The first one lasted years, and died. I was gifted an omron (colgate) one and it was horrible. Felt really cheap and nasty, not powerful and reassuring like the Oral B. Also I have big hands, and the omron felt like a toothpick compared to the Oral B All I did...

Re: Which Waterpik tip do you use?

My waterpik arrived yesterday, and for the first few times I used the ortho tip.

What I like about the ortho tip is that its soft, so any 'hamfisted' cleaning should not risk dislodging any of my brackets.

Re: Dental Tourism

This sounds like a really expensive way to save cash...

I have already had 4 appointments, I can only imagine how many more are going to be needed before I'm done, possibly 18 (at one a month). Even then is a three hour round trip in the car.

Re: Braces at 41

Another member of the 40+ club checking in!

Just had mine fitted last week, pain is OK mainly because 1/3 of the brackets fell off a couple of hours after fitting! The bottom ones are now back on but I still have three gaps up top.
