I'm getting my teeth cleaned by my dentist 3 hours before getting my braces on. My dentist recommended that I clean my teeth before I get my braces on.

Who cleans better: a dentist or a dental hygenist?

I get braces in two weeks. I will definitely try this.

Congratulations on getting your braces in! I have a small mouth and lots of teeth too. My ortho said he needs to extract eight teeth total (4 wisdom teeth). Of course I'll be getting another opinion next week, as I want to keep all of my teeth if I can help it.

It looks like I'm getting braces at 24 as my insurance runs out when I turn 25 and I really cannot afford the full price!
I've been to an orthodontic consultation and I have two more consultations next week. I will know by next Saturday which orthodontist I will choose.
