Re: Retainers?!

You should call up the orthodontic office to check, but it's usually around full time for the first 6 months and then nightly for the rest of your life

Re: Little help please *

Hey I just wanted to let you know that I like reading your updates and keeping up with how you're doing, and I probably missed this part but how old are you? And I'm so sorry about how expensive braces are, that sounds awful. Here I was complaining about having to pay for oral surgery anesthesia a c...

Re: Impacted canine surgery.... Now what?

That's interesting, in most cases the braces are put on first and the gold chain is attached to the impacted tooth during the exposure surgery and then that chain is attached to the arch wire. I also haven't heard of bite plates being given for exposures before, did your follow-up occur yet? I'm cur...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB

I've seen a lot of other posts on this forum saying that powerchains worked for them in a matter of days, and my canine finally fully came down but now there's a gap between it and my front teeth so I was wondering how long it took you guys to finish closing large gaps (~5mm) around the lowered cani...

Re: So.. I have root resorption. Anyone else have it?

A little bit of root resorption is a common side effect of braces from everything I've read, what matters is the severity so if your dentist said it's fine it hopefully will remain so. My roots were going through resorption a few months back when my canine got ankylosed so I got a subluxation surger...

Is there any app available to open this forum on?

The layout is great on mobile, but Chrome on Android isn't my favorite so I was wondering if there was an app available

Re: The never ending story of Clo's braces

This story is fascinating, I'm also so terribly sorry about everything you've been through. I even made an account just so I could finish reading your experience, and I'm not sure if you're still active but I was wondering if anything had changed from the last time you posted?
