Re: Oral Surgeon in Melbourne Australia
"I will be having double jaw surgery + genioplasty in Australia in the next couple of months. I read multiple cases of inexperienced surgeons in Sydney/Melbourne that made terrible mistakes with their patients and I have no idea which surgeon to choose. Can you guys confirm your experience with...

Re: What type of floss do you use?

I thought I was going mad...thanks again!

Re: What type of floss do you use?
This is almost a year later so hopefully that's ok? I am new to the board and braces and not sure if I'm flossing right. It feels like a dumb question actually but here goes. I start with with the stiff end which I thread through then use the floss just as I would normally, right? What I'm concerned...

Re: How many surgeons did you consult?

I just went with the orthodontist my dentist referred me to and then the maxifillio surgeon she works with...or the group she works with. I chose the only female surgeon at the clinic and m...

Re: Braces and Double Jaw Surgery to come. A little worried about root resorption!
Thanks BlondeCam! I am thinking along those lines too. I also reminded myself that the Maxillofacial surgeon was very up front in our consultation about all the potential risks. She also had examined the X-rays and everything and didn't mention root resorption or short roots so am feeling better. I ...

Braces and Double Jaw Surgery to come. A little worried about root resorption!
Hi! I am 46 and now on my fourth day of being a brace face! This has been a long time coming and I wasn't entirely sure I was going to actually start this journey until the day I did it so in a way, it almost feels like an impulse decision! So a little bit about my particular situation. I had braces...
