Happy to have found this forum! I'm 41 and in braces for the first time. As a teen I was told I needed braces for four years, or jaw surgery as an adult. I refused to start treatment (wish my parents would've pushed me into it!) and as I've aged, I've been having issues with TMJ. Tried to treat that...
