Just my opinion ... but I feel like she should put you back in the exact ceramic or clear that you already paid for and correct it all AT NO CHARGE! Period. Being nice doesn't pay sometimes.

My choice remains grey/ smoke ligatures on my ceramic braces. I've only been in them for 7 weeks now but have had no staining issues and that's a major concern for me. On the daily, I drink about 2 cups of coffee and usually have iced tea with dinner. Enjoy your wine!

There's an orthodontists on here! Maybe he can help answer those questions. A million moons ago when I was a teenager, my first go round, I had the spacers for a week and molar bands. No fillings or crowns. I think the technology and techniques just change a bit.

Ceramic uppers and chose grey/ smoke ligatures for rear of staining. They obviously match the wire and haven't stained.

It's amazing how the different configurations of elastic can shift your whole arch isn't it? Your ortho seems to be doing a great job. I bet your midline shifts a ton before your next adjustment. Really look great! I'm jelly of your super white teeth btw

Keep using the wax, it will get better. My first two weeks it felt like I had wax everywhere. Ask the orthodontist what mouthwash you should use or the pharmacist. I think it's OTC. Just hang in there.
