I've been eating pretty much everything though nothing to hard and crunchy but more because my teeth hurt and my teeth feel to move about with the pressure.

I chew chewing gum every day, wrigleys extra and it doesn't stick.

I'm 7 weeks in and had 1 adjustment, I felt pressure when it was fitted and a day or so after, then hardly anything ,then just the odd tooth feeling sore on and off. After the first adjustment, the coil spring was taken off and my front tooth finally connected to the wire so again I felt pressure on...

Mine was £1060 ish which is for the brace (fixed metal sectional upper front 6), ipr, fixed retainer, vacuum retainer for night. Consultation was £95 on top that. 3rd time lucky ?!

I wish I'd thought of that earlier and done it from the start. I only got a tiny little pack of wax and don't think I'd even have enough to do one impression!

I hope so, it's certainly giving me some pain at the minute but like the old saying 'no pain no gain'! He said it will pull forward but I still think the two either side need to be a bit further apart. No ipr has been done yet unless he's waiting to see which teeth need it most?? I know, every time ...

I've been using good old cocoa flavoured Vaseline in a little tin. I've got a couple of stick lip balms but found they felt a bit waxy and made my lips dryer. The Vaseline seems to make my lips more 'slippy'

I just got a tiny little plastic box which had like 5 strips of wax!! I've not used any yet, I'd prefer to toughen my mouth up. So far so good really

To be honest, even if I took a picture it wouldn't come out very well plus you can't really tell. I don't know if I felt it more as my lip feels dry and it was just dragging against the coil... It still bothers me how I've not really had any pain after I've read people on here who have been in agony...

Funny you should say that,...I got my brace last Monday and I have to say that nearly every night after work I have felt tired and ended up falling asleep,in front of the tv lol
