I've been wearing Mac Instigator (matte) which does get on the brackets a little bit, but the finger trick definitely helps

I've got the bite guards in - six month smile here, started yesterday - and I'm really struggling with eating too. I loooooooove eating Especially difficult now that I'm experiencing tooth/gum tenderness too.

I got braces yesterday (age 31 living in Manchester, UK). Definitely good not to feel alone! This forum has been a real help so far.

I just had my six month smile braces installed yesterday, my mouth is pretty sore at the moment and it's really frustrating to try and eat.
