I'm not in pain yet as they've only been on a few hours. They said the next few days might be a bit tender. So I could have had a decent meal if it wasn't for these pesky bite blocks :)

I've had my ceramics fitted this afternoon, I also have a bite block. Man, it's difficult to chew! I'm currently eating mash potato with white fish which is very nice... remind me of that when I'm still eating it in a years time ;) It's hard to imagine eating solid food at the moment. Not sure how common white wires are. I saw someone wearing one and I've seen pictures online, so I asked about it in my consultation. I do think they look really smart as they blend in with the teeth well.

Thanks for the reply. Wow, it moved in just a month? That's great. I guess it's one of those things - the quicker my teeth straighten out, the less concerned I'll feel about drawing attention to them! Hmm... decisions. Good to hear not everyone scratches the coating off though.
