Got the spacers. They are uncomfortable at the moment. I have always been told I have a high tolerance for pain though. I'm staying positive at the moment about it. I did wake up with pain in my jaw; not the spacers or my teeth. It subsided very quickly though.

Biotene. Helps with dry mouth as well. That has my vote.

That's a good sign for sure. I'll be getting spacers soon. I'll have an expander for a few months before I get braced.

USAF and their dentists. Don't get me started. Impacted wisdom tooth while in basic. Diagnosed as mumps or some contagious unidentifiable infection. 6 weeks in hospital.

Soooooo, Monday I'll get spacers. Then two weeks later a dynamic max-2000 expander. I'm terrified and didn't think it would be so emotional.

Always needed braces and finally doing it at 38.
