Got a mold taken last week, so that brings my collection up to three! Just wanted to show the MARPE maxilla expansion progress over the past year and a half:

$8700 - $2000 from insurance $6700 out of pocket in California (SF Bay Area). On top of that, another $1500 for a TAD-assisted expander.

Double jaw surgery will most likely (hopefully) be covered by insurance.

It can be done, but it's rare. From the sound of it, most surgeons would opt for a SARPE if possible.
