The pain and the feeling of how weird it eats will go away. Eat soft stuff. Mashed potatoes, sherbert, that kind of stuff for a few days and I took advil to help. It definately takes some getting used to.

Same thing happened to me during my first month of treatment. I had a mini freak out moment. But it closed up quickly!

I have the clear ceramic brackets on top and metal on bottom. On top I usually do light silver bands, don't notice any staining. I've had them 6 months so far and the other day someone at work said they didn't even know I had them! I usually do a fun color on bottom. This time I got blue

I agree. So my next appointment, I made sure I made it with the orthodontist that seems to be on the same page as me.
